It was a return to their Alma mata for Hapaweb Google Apps trainers Albert Opoku and Gideon Brefo. The two along with Elvis Agah were in Legon under the Google Apps Supporting Programs (GASP) to run G Suite for Education (Formally Google for Education) (Formally G Suite (Formally Google Apps for Education)) trainings for first year students who had gained administration into the university.
Google Apps Supporting Programs (GASP). GASP is a program by Google to support educational institutions in Sub Saharan Africa to improve Internet access and strengthen campus infrastructure.
Hapaweb which is a Google partner on the project held the trainings for five days for close to 1000 students from 30 September to 4 October 2013. The trainings focused on education around the use of Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Forms and Google+.
